I'm using the train (mostly in Germany and neighboring countries) quite often. I'd like to draw a map of the exact rail tracks I have been using. The application I'm using requires GPX for import. If you have an Android, I would recommend the free Oruxmaps (for the tracking). I don't know if it´s also available for iPhone. It can be configured for a high update rate (under GPS settings), for when you use the ICE, and is very accurate. answered 08 Dec '12, 20:07  LimburgCowboy |
