Hi is there a protocol to tag and name a highway link between 2 highways ? See link below. http://www.openstreetmap.org/edit?lat=52.06515&lon=5.07355&zoom=15 Use the lowest number of a road to tag them ? Tag them halfway in between ? Tag the to and the from with the originating number ? Greetz Hendrik

The mappers It's so funny and The Maarssen Mapper are the most active motorway detail mappers near you (probably in the whole of The Netherlands). If you want consistent tagging, please coordinate with them.

In Germany, many links are tagged using the keys destination and/or destination_ref - the former naming the places listed on the exit sign, the latter naming the number of the highway you get to when you use the link. Needless to say, this only works with oneway links! Links rarely have a ref or name tag of their own.
