How to complete edit and/or separate edits

I made a number of edits filed under set 13811497 that I thought were being saved under multiple sets. For example, I added some retention/detention ponds that got included in an edit for a swimming pool. How can I separate them out? Also, it say I am still editing. How do I complete an edit? While I'm waiting for a reply, I'll reread the documentation. I must have missed something.
