Hi all. I am trying to save XML data for all of the island of Jamaica so that I can use it in an App called Navfree. However, each time I try it says the area is too large for that format.

Is this something that the admins of OpenStreetMap will have to help me to pull or do I have any alternatives for getting this information?

Thanks.

Data for "Central America" is available from Geofabrik here in a couple of formats; I'd guess that one of those would be what you want.

EDIT:

After a bit of digging about I don't think that you'll be able to use raw OSM XML data to update Navfree, not according to this answer on their uservoice page. Also, Jamaica isn't a region currently supported by Navfree.
