On Centos 5, I've installed Nominatim and installed my first OSM file with the ./utils/setup.php --osm-file <filename> --all command. I now run the following command to install another OSM file: ./utils/setup.php --osm-file <filename> --import-data

and I get to "Setting up table: planet_osm_ways" where the process just hangs. Any idea whats up or how to fix this?

The thread referenced doesn't answer the above question well. The update option is a dead end. Then the question veers off into fixing a corrupt file. The question above could be better phrased as - how do I add a second OSM file to my data?

The question has been closed for the following reason "For importing multiple files see https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/15505/import-more-osm-files-in-to-nominatim" by lonvia 10 Oct '12, 09:46
