I am involved in a project to encourage people in the London 2012 Olympic boroughs to become more active and to visit and use the Olympic Park (as it opens up). As part of that project, we would like to map a number of running, walking and cycling routes within the boroughs and from the boroughs to the Park. Is there anyone (ideally someone London based) who would be willing to help us with the mapping of the routes?

You might find some help at the 11 Oct London pub meet-up.

I would like help but I'm a 100km away, do you have a link for what has opened up, could someone in your team donate some GPX traces or written descriptions of them to OSM. If you could follow them on the Bing back ground that is available in potlatch2 and JOSM editors they will be fairly easy to map in. The beginners guide shows how that works. This is an ideal use for Openstreetmap that will allow free distribution of walks and rides info.
