Whats the value of the figures below a account of a OSM mapper ?

0

I just found some strange numbers in the database just below the name of a OSMr. Fi work done 426 | traces 22. Where do they stand for ? Is any one or the system counting the amount of nodes or ways you make ? I cant make it up since I do have the impression that its not the amount of nodes or changes of my hand. Greetz Hendrik

It is the number of changesets and traces uploaded by that user.

Quick note: I believe the number of changesets includes any empty ones, which aren't visible if you browse your changesets. I think for example Potlatch 1 in live edit mode might create such a changeset if you then don't change anything, although I'm not saying this is the only way they might get created.

Hi Gnonthgol, I still doubt it. IMHO is my real value thats mentioned, far less then what I tagged and changed again. But thanks for the answer.
