While on holidays I decided to plot the beach access points along a stretch of beach front road, which is not marked as yet. The numbers for the beach access points are intended to make it easy for emergency services to attend an incident. So there are two parts to my question, how do I make the road and then add the access points? A walking man icon would be a good marker, do we have such a marker? The best place to start is to read the wiki, mainly the beginners guide and also watch the help videos. If the area as good Bing it will be easier. If the access points have gates and or paths that is what you could use. There is a facility in Potlatch2 and JOSM to locate the lats and longs of your waypoints just by comparing the readings as well as some smarter methods. Have a read and then get back to us when you need more help. answered 02 Oct '12, 14:24 andy mackey here is a bit about waypoints in JOSM http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Korea_Mapping_Guide#Waypoints
