Could someone please check the shoreline tagging in this area http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=57.27087&lon=-5.99339&zoom=17&layers=M , and tell me whether there are errors in the shoreline?

I know the shoreline shapefiles are recreated at larger intervals. Is there a way of knowing when the next shoreline update will take place?

Thanks!

You can check for errors in the coastline with the OSMI coastline view. It looks that there were no errors last night. This tool updates far more often than the coastline on tiles on the main website.

Since the updating of the coastline shapes on the main website is a partly manual process, there is no way of knowing when it will be done next.
