I recently found one of the old Ordnance Survey triangulation points which are placed near many high points. They are useful reassurance of your position so I think they should be mapped, I thought maybe monument or view point. They are a monument to old cartography and they need to have been where they could see a lot on country so often a view point. Thanks

If you try typing Trig point into the wiki search box it takes you to this page. These don't render on the default Mapnik rendering though; an example is here.
