I am looking for a simple way to map static maps for my website, something that I can update occassionally withouth having to re-enter all of the POIs, any suggestions? asked 25 Nov '10, 16:25 harvest |
There's an overview over a number of free services that help you create static maps on the Static map images wiki page. answered 25 Nov '10, 17:25 Frederik Ramm ♦ |
Try the "export" feature on the main site. Any of the popular photo editors have support for layers. When you want to update the image, download the new image with the same paramiters and just swap the background layer. Remember to release the map (with the POI layer) under CC-BY-SA and attribute OSM with “© OpenStreetMap contributors, CC-BY-SA” answered 25 Nov '10, 17:26 Gnonthgol ♦ |
