I see "OpenStreetMap" on the web site and wiki, but I see "Open Street Maps" often in the press and other places. Which is it?

I'm glad you asked that.

Yes, the press and many others often get the name wrong. The correct spelling is OpenStreetMap. One word, three capital letters, one map. OpenStreetMap is also a trademark.

Other variations are incorrect.
