How do I tag a ford (road crossing a stream) in Potlatch ?

The most recent way of tagging a ford is using the same technique as tagging a bridge: for the short section of road that is a ford, add the tag ford=yes. This has the advantage that the length of the ford crossing can be discerned and the original road type (highway=*) is preserved.

Select the node and enter the tag highway=ford.

Looks like when you create a path there is an option in the Structure group to tag it as a ford.
