Cuando hago un acercamiento al mapa sólo me muestra la imagen en blanco y con el símbolo de una cámara fotográfica tachada supongo que es porque no hay imágenes de esa resolución. ¿Se puede hacer acercamiento aunque se vea con baja resolución para poder trazar las carreteras?

Assuming you were using the map on openstreetmap.org then that seems to have been working correctly when you posted this question. All map layers on openstreetmap.org usually can render non-cached tiles quite fast (<5 sec).

If you are using some kind of wireless network then I would suspect simple network timeouts.

Seguramente tengas seleccionada una capa que no tiene mas resolución, prueba a seleccionar otra, yo lo que suelo hacer, es darme un paseo con el GPS en mano capturando la ruta y luego la importo, despues al visualizarla puedo trazar la carretera por donde va realmente.
