There is a newly-planted, mixed wood near me. The planting was done in 2010. I'm wondering what tagging to use to show that it is not mature woodland - it looks more like a field at the moment. It's designated as a nature reserve and is permissive open-access land - so I would like to tag it properly as a potential resource to be used by many.

You can use landuse=forest for "managed forest or woodland plantation", in contrast to natural=wood which is used for "natural primeval woodland". Additionally you might want to add the leisure=nature_reserve tag, either just for the wood or a larger area surrounding it, whichever fits best.

Thanks - I will change my tags to: access=yes designation=access_land leisure=nature_reserve name=Haydon Way Wood landuse=forest (was natural=wood) note=Newly-planted wood (approx 2010), signs state land has "permitted access", not sure about legal designation of access source=Partially surveyed with GPS, Part estimated using Bing wood=mixed
