Has there already been an answer to the question, how to determine the border gps-coordinates of the currently zoomed in view? If not, please reply. If yes, please share the link.

http://pastebin.com/mMKrhA4D is what I did with what he wrote at http://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/3099/calculate-bbox-from-latlonzoompixel-widthpixel-height. But the calculated values are too large. Why is that?

Click on export tab and you will see lats and lons of the screen
