How can I see the author of the changes that have been deleted by the redaction bot?

If I can find an author and he accepts the terms - is there any kind of automatic restoring?

You cannot access the contributions of non-agreeing people through the API any longer. (It is still possible for users with moderator privilege but this is intended for debugging only.) To find out details about a deleted object, you will have to download the pre-bot planet file (http://planet.openstreetmap.org/planet-120704.osm.bz2) and investigate things yourself.

I do not want the contributions - the author name would be sufficient. And how can the data be restored?

If the person agrees now, it's too late. There's no automatic old-stuff-reappearing functionality since that would cause chaos.
