Take a look at the River Thames near Tower Bridge: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=51.507&lon=-0.08247&zoom=17

Why has the river turned grey, changing from a river entirely into a riverbank? It seems to have something to do with this edit by the OSMF Redaction Account, so I'm reluctant to do anything to it.

The behaviour is a result of the redaction bot, and naturally should be repaired.

However the specific region hasn't been finished yet, so it could be argued that you may want to wait to that has happened.
