Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

I did a search in London. From the search list I clicked on a URL but no map appeared. Is somemthing wrong with the site or is my company blocking some of the site's functionality?

Does this link work? It does here, so I guess there might be some problem at your end. Also try clearing your browser cache first. There are also other services available with maps based on OSM data like CloudMade and MapQuest, you can try them if you think the main OSM map is blocked for you.
