Hello, I downloaded one of the maps from here: http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/ in OSM format. The problem is that the housenumber is missing from the addresses. If I go to openstreetmap.org and select an area and export it in OSM format, I can see the housenumber tag in it, but in the large file I can't find it. I also tryed to limit the area using "OSMConvert" application and entered min/max lng and min/max lat and exported in a new OSM file and also tryed to export the same area directly in openstreetmap.org and there are some differences. Does the complete file (21 BG file) contains all the informations needed? The smaller file does not contain all the details? Thank you! |

The Geofabrik OSM downloads are not filtered by anything but region, so if the house number is in the data then it should be there. If it isn't, I would be grateful if you could report details about which house number is missing to info@geofabrik.de so it can be investigated. |
