updating the plugin list in JOSM linux

I only seem to have 10 plugins availble for JOSM. There are a number of them I would like to try but they are not listed.

Ive tried clicking on the "update plugins list" but it says everything is fine. Any Idea what may be wrong. Im using JOSM in Ubuntu 11.10 Thanks for any pointers.

Just to check - have you installed JOSM from an Ubuntu repository or from josm.openstreetmap.de? What version are you running?

2	The version of JOSM that comes with Ubuntu is quite old and outdated. You should upgrade to the latest tested version at josm.openstreetmap.de . You might also use the WebStart to always be up to date. permanent link answered 30 Jun '12, 17:57 Gnonthgol ♦ 13.8k●16●103●198 accept rate: 16%
