Restore deleted areas

Hi,

I recently noticed that there were some areas removed from OSM near my hometown Gummersbach.

Seems that it was removed by mistake. I mailed to the person who changed this, but I didn't get an answer so far. How can I restore the removed data?

I'm looking into this. There are a bunch of conflicts and duplicates.
