speed limits in a neighbourhood

Do we have to tag the speed limit for every livingstreet or is it possible to tag it to fi a 30 km zone ?

When in doubt, be more specific. More detail on each way is rarely an issue.

Dear Paul, Im not against more info at an item, but its a lot of work to correct it. Since Holland has gone to make it easy for drivers, by killing extra traffic signs, the repeating ones, by placing a sign at the entrance of an area. Fi at the beginning is an painting on the road 30 km zone with congesting traffic signs, clear. Youll have to check the borders of an area to tag correctly. And after realising it I took a closer look, see my comment above. Have fun and keep tagging

Oh, yeah, zone limits happen. I've usually used JOSM when I need to do zone limits, using JOSM to search for all ways within a specific boundary, unselect the ones for which the restriction doesn't apply, and tag the rest in one shot.
