enter data in search area

I bought the iPad ap for Barcelona street map. When I attempt to enter a query in the "search" bar, the keyboard disappears from the screen. How do I solve this?

There's no offical OSM iPad application - what was it you actually bought?

OpenStreetMap does not sell iPad apps. There are indeed commercial vendors using our data and maps, but user interface problems (such as on-screen keyboard behavior) have nothing to do with that. So unless some OSM community member happens to own the same app, we won't be able to help, and it might be worthwhile to send a bug report to the developer of your app through their support channels instead.
