Hello, When I try to download a trace from openstreetmap.org, I always get an HTTP403 Forbidden response. Example: [12:13:37.697] GET http://www.openstreetmap.org/trace/1233555/data [HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden 437ms] I am logged in. I tried with IE on Windows and with Firefox on Windows and Linux. And I used different machines and even changed my IP address. There seems to be a problem at the server. Does anybody know if this is temporary or who needs to be informed to fix the problem? I think the correct place to ask would be on IRC at #osm, or at #osm-dev. However, it works for me so either the problem is at your end or it has been resolved. Thanks EdLoach. This is strange. Maybe something is wrong with my account??? (I used different computers and even changed my IP address and the problem persists).

I'd do what EdLoach suggested and ask on one of the IRC channels (via http://irc.openstreetmap.org/ if you don't have an IRC client).

I contacted IRC channels. Answer: The whole IP range was blocked due to a scraper who kept changing IP address. Thank you RichardF for finding that out. Cheers. 2
I think that this is also somehow the answer to my question. At least it explains my problem (which persists). Nevertheless, I marked the one from EdLoach as "the correct answer", because first it seems I am not able to do this with my own answer and second the hint to the IRC (including the link from SomeoneElse) is probably more relevant to others.
