Hello everyone, I bought Osmand+ and have the latest version (0.7.3 beta) installed on my Samsung Galaxy S with Cyanogen Mod 9. As I downloaded a whole lot of maps they are not shown in OsmAnd. As I deleted all and reinstalled some it was working again. Then I installed some more and it again said that no data was found. Does anybody know how to solve the problem? Thanks for help.

You are not clear on if you were using the offline vector maps (which you should be doing) or using one of the map tile backgrounds (which you shouldn't be using as a downloaded map).

As well as download maps, you have to choose offline vector maps as source. You found this setting clicking on the "layers" icon in the upper right of the map screen.

I'm not so sure your problem is related to the tile blocking... Are you trying to download offline vector data? Or are you indeed having problems with tiles?

For offline mode, vector rendering is by far the best way to go. It takes up less space than tiles and is more flexible.

To download offline vector data go to Settings -> Offline Data. Then tap on the globe with the arrow under it in the upper right and search for your area of interest. Back on the map, tap the little blue globe at the top of the screen and then select "Offline vector maps"

This is exactly what I did. The maps where installed correctly but after I installed the 5th map I couldn't see anything. Only the error message appeared saying: No Offline Vector Maps avalible for your area.

The application was using incorrect urls for the tiles and was poisoning the cache records on our servers. The invalid urls were blocked earlier today.

Ask the developers of the app for an update. The invalid urls have an invalid suffix: http://tile.openstreetmap.org/16/32720/21795.png.andnav should have been http://tile.openstreetmap.org/16/32720/21795.png

Note also that the app must conform to our Tile Usage Policy, of course.

This doesn't appear to be my problem.

Never used it, but the wiki page links to a project page with some help on it, and also a link to this google group. So I'd ask there...

As with many (all?) similar things, osmand isn't an "official" OSM application. It uses OSM data; but it is a third-party project that also uses other third-party resources. Someone might be able to solve your problem here, but I'd definitely try the application's own support forum first.
