Hi,

Working with an OSM compatible licensed street names dataset, I would like it to be used not for a general import but for a case to case integration after checking the names position on the currenlty mapped area. Converting the set in an .osm file can be dangerous IMHO, so I was wondering if GPX would not be a better format, but then I would like to know if there is a way/a plugin to copy/paste the name attributes from the GPX layer to the ongoing edited osm layer in JOSM.
This question apart, what do you think would be the most effective approach ?

Sincerely,

Severin
