Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Or maybe this is not off topic ... but given the beefy hardware requirements of OSM, where do you all host your map server(s)? Looking for some dedicated server recommendations.

As described on the main page hosting is provided by the UCL VR center, Imperial College London and Bytemark Hosting. There is also a tile cache hosted at Teleservice Skåne AB is sweden. All this hosting is donated and only Bytemark is providing hosting comercialy.

Hosting beefy servers on rackspace hosted by universities would not be possible without the help of our administrators. Especialy Grant who is doing most of the hardware stuff.
