Should forest boundaries share roads' or railways' nodes?

Sorry for duplicate question. However, response remains unclear to me. Anyway, thanks to all.

Shared ways can give a neater look as odd strips of undefined land do not get left as they do if one draws a roughly parallel way. Changing a way that does two jobs and be a nightmare if they need editing later. Maybe the answer is to use a separate way drawn precisely close at high magnification it just takes more time. I certainly have some edits I intend to tidy up that suffered through time saving.
