Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hi all,

informations like springs, passes, summits, base camps could be useful on the map for hikers, but I can't found a way to add those. Is it possible or do you think it would be possible to add theses items ?

If you do a search for Hiking at the wiki you will find information regarding this. Remember that the OpenStreetMap data isn't limited to what the Potlatch editor shows you.

OK, I understand everything can't be accessible in the online editor, and there is effectively a lot of information in the wiki ;) thank you for your answer

Instead of using the "answer" feature to thank @TheOddOne2, please use the "add new comment" button underneath his post, and also click the "accept" button. That way he will receive proper acknowledgment for his assistance and your own "accept rate" status will not suffer like it currently has.
