How do I paste a saved screen image into a question, answer or comment in these help pages

  • Log in (and maybe you also must have a validated email address)
  • Depending on what you want to do … add an answer to an existing question or ask a new question
  • click on 6th button from left above the text you're typing (labelled "image")
    editing button row with image button highlighted
  • browse to the image on your PC (it'll fill in both boxes)
  • supply the alt text (what people without graphics will see).

  • If you want to "comment", convert the answer to a comment.
