I searched for an address in New York City: 179 Columbus Ave, New York, NY USA. The description said this address is in Long Island City. This is not correct. This address is in Manhattan. Long Island City is a different location / neighborhood in New York City. How can I change this description so it says it is in Manhattan? Thank you. (jlinder1@yahoo.com)

This answer explains how to find out what the problem is - it looks like you're near this place=suburb node. That screen has a "report a problem with these results" button which allows you to explain to the people who run Nominatim that it's wrong here.
