I recently changed computers from Windows xp to Windows 7 (64 bits). Now Mapsource shuts down when I want to save my collected traces into GPX. It saves GDB, but that is of no use in OSM. Browsing on Internet and Garmin shows that the problem exists and that GARMIN is not solving it and the problem doesnot occur on 32 bit systems. Question thus is, is there another way to chnage my GDB files into GPX without having to use Mapsource? TIA.

What version of Mapsource is it?

A link to where other people are having problems might be useful as well (we can all search for people having problems with Mapsourc, but we won't know that they're the same problems that you're having).

This earlier question suggests you can use GPSBabel to convert GDB to GPX and I've used it on Windows 7 64-bit OK (though not for GDB files, I should add).
