hey, I need to put a layer on the open street map, that shows different water resources for different areas (so the different areas have to be in different blue colours), but unfortunately I have no idea, if this is even possible. And how can I define the different frontiers?

It would be great, if someone could help me :-)

You need to be a bit more specific, and what is the end product?

If your end product is just a image in a publication, you can easily export the map to an image and paint the water resources of your choice in a different colour.
