Hi,

I work for a london charity, and we would like to produce printed maps of our London Borough for some of our members...

We currently have an Illustrator map made for us by a freelancer, but it will be a lot of work to add all the street names...

Is it possible to use your data in a printed format?

Thanks,

Cris www.voluntaryaction.net

The best resource for an AI map is probably www.flosm.de where you can select a bounding box and download an AI map. It doesn't have the exact same styling as www.openstreetmap.org but you can modify details in AI. Other than that, you can also go to the "export" tab on www.openstreetmap.org, select a box and export an SVG or PDF; this will look more like our web map but will be more difficult to modify in AI.

There are many other options which mean more work but also more flexibility for you; you might want to enter "maperitive" or "render own maps" in the search box above and see what you find.
