Can anyone suggest how to tag a Job Centre? It's part of a larger building, so I need to add a single node with the appropriate tag(s).

There are 48 uses of amenity=job_centre acording to taginfo. You can use it and add some more information like name, address, opening hours (and any other useful information) if you know these.

Thanks; the tagInfo link is definitely worth knowing about. I looked on the Map Features wiki at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Map_Features but didn't find anything relevant to this question.

No doubt, especially given the US economy...knowing where the state employment office is would be quite the boon if you're new to an area.
