Just spent ages trying to select any feature in potlatch 2 but it just kept on adding a new way instead. Searched for help and couldn't find any tips or similar encounters as to why the tool would not select.

So, feeling frustrated tried in IE instead of my usual Google Chrome, and works fine! Feel silly, but thought it may be useful for others with similar stumbling block to realise its just the browser incompatibility it seems....

Works for me (Windows 7 64-bit, Chrome 17.0.963.56, Flash (3 files) - Version: 11,1,102,62 Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102)

Perhaps you could supply a few more details - Operating System, Flash plugin version, maybe even an area of the map that shows the problem and a thing that you're trying to select and can't?

This sort of thing is usually a Flash Player issue (good old Adobe, we love them dearly).

Chrome, I believe, actually has a built-in Flash Player, which is probably why it's behaving differently to the one with IE. If you go to the Adobe website you'll see a little box telling you what version that is. Could you let us know? We can then test it out, see what's happening and try and fix it.

Thanks for your help. "You have version 10,0,45,2 installed" So seems to have not alerted me that I need to upgrade... I shall do that.

We've adjusted it today so that you can use the final version of 10.1, or anything more recent. Certainly if you move to the latest version - 11.1 I think - you'll be fine.

Works for me Chrome and Potlatch 2, using:

Google Chrome 16.0.912.75 (Official Build 116452)
WebKit 535.7 (@103989)
JavaScript V8 3.6.6.15
Flash 11.1 r102

(I've never had any problems)
