Who could give me a hint how to transfer Data of map tiles (extracted from the subdivided openstreet worldmap) to a Garmin Oregon 450? I'm really confused by all the condensed expert's talk in nthe net. Currently I gathered some alphanumeric lines, representing different map tiles of Oman, but I don't know, how to combine them and to import them to the Oregon device in the img.- file format. When I tried "sendmap" I couldn't copy and past the lines to the sendmap-window. What can I do to overcome this difficulty? Thanks to everybody who is willing to help me. you can download your own .img-file for Garmin from there: http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ just choose the tiles you need, save the map to your harddrive and copy it to your Garmin from there. answered 19 Feb '12, 17:03  moszkva ter |
