Color coded

what is the meaning of color coded roads appearing in openstreetmaps. (example road color is red, public road/city road/ private road / or national hi way) please give me a guide on what was the color coded of roads meaning/identifications.. it may help my job identifying the road colors if it is (private road/Public Road/City Road / Subdivision road / Road Right of Way /National Hi-way).. anyway im from Philippines. thank you
