where can I do a direction search / routing (from x to y location)?

I am a new user. Was trying to make a direction search (from x to y location) but unable to find where should I do that. Can someone help. Thanks

Getting directions is also called routing.

The main Open Street Map site (the "slippy map") does not provide a routing service, although there are other sites that can do that based on the OSM data. See Routing online/routers on the wiki for some links.
