I am looking for a free traffic information project. Waze software is free itself but the map data are non-commercial. Is there a project running like Waze with truly free map data?

Steve Coast is starting a project called Transiki that will collect information on public traffic. But you aim on all traffic?

Transiki is a project to collect schedule information for public transport. It has nothing to do with traffic levels on public roads.
